Fucking weirdos
as promised (way earlier then expected) i'm going to share some music that i have been listening to this summer.. i'm more of a podcast guy but i do enjoy the singles
..
Make sure to click the link to dl!
about the selection:
these are some tracks that have seen that ol' repeat button a few to many times this summer..
i like to keep things varied.. variety IS the spice of life .. I've listen to these songs while:
-biking through a hurricane
-dancing alone at the grocery store (who says you can't rave at the IGA?)
-before fun summer dates (dates are the best btw.. i love going on a date)
-lying in the park post picnic
these tracks really are fun to listen to depending on your mood
the summer started with a heartbreak ....(silly fairies)... which in my humble opinion ..sucks! but also is AMAZING!
Heartbreak is one of the best things to happen to someone.. it makes you stronger, gives you some time to think abut yourself and what you want..ect
wow what a tangent
all this to say that when your going through some hard or easy times it's always nice to have a bit of musical companionship. Music is such a powerful thing..you should treat it as such
anyway
the rest of the summer has been so much FUN tons of smiles and adventures. i think what i learned this summer was how to find the most joy out of the random and simple
so here is a tribute to the random and simple
Enjoy weirdo's
P.S This is in response to this other weirdo's blog (there's a bunch of us out there).. lol she is such a silly goose .. i mean just to picture this girl jamming to -Come sail away by the Styx-
i seriously laughed out loud ..it's so corny!.. .. weirdo's eh?.....we're so.....
WEIRD
p.s.s. i fuckin luv it
p.s.s.s i was talking about weirdo's ..not 'come sail away'..haha
the beginning
learning, growing, improving
that's the goal kids
i'm excited
I've also decided to bring this blog back to its original state.. more music, more lessons and reflections, more art, less ranting :P
I had a fantastic summer...

The Longest, Most redundant poem i have ever written
I need women
i need to long for them fall in love with them and get heartbroken by them, i need to go on dates with them and pursue them i need them as friends and foes i need to play that ever lasting never ever for ever after game of subtle seduction
back and forth like battling cobras
i need to growl and hiss for them
i need to stand straight for them and puff out my chest for them
i need to clench my jaw for them and blush because of them
i need to look out like lighthouse keepers and find the brightness in each of them
i need to be a gentle man and open doors i need to compliment so as to make myself feel better
i need to unfurl their curls and caress their curves i need to trace their body with 1 finger outlining their femminity it gives me serenity to be so close to divinity
I need girls and i need women and ladies and models and secretaries, librarians.
each with a lesson
looking back i needed
up and coming gym teachers, insecure french girls and troubled artists, i needed those westmount nerds and fashion rock stars, hipsters that shoplift, i needed smiling hippies and strong Nubian princesses, i needed big women, the kind that take what they want. i needed those volunteer paramedics and go getter bartenders, 6 foot yoga girls and young designers that i almost forgot about.. i needed suicide girls and broken ballerinas.. kinky Italianos and red headed feminists
i need that uncertain possibility that comes with a lingering gaze or a sultry smile i need that taste of victory when i lick your desire i need the sting of defeat as i watch you turn away..
i need to look deeply into your eyes only to see my reflection cause girl i need vanity, i need their decisions and self reflection.
i need the girls that are aware and the ones that wish they were i need to smell the scent of a women i need to submerse myself in their hair the sensual baptizim i need to catch my heart as it flies out of my mouth i need their adrenaline rollercoasters and the calculations to their heart that Einstein would scratch his head at
i need those pretty lady induced silences that shyness that reduces men to boys memories of silly chases around the park our first encounter with diseases cooties spread like the plague!
i need those girls that dance to techno and dress up up up the ones that smoke to get high i need those sassy firecrackers and subtle seductresses.
I need them strong and individualistic
i want you! but i want you to want you, and to trust yourself, and to make your own decisions
i want a strong independent women that seeks answers and asks me questions
i need a women that goes and cum's, seeks and allures, takes and gives
i need them wise and humble yet vain and sensual
i need to stop writing this shitty poem and find her

upside down frowns
I have a Smile plastered to my face
The things that make you feel depressed should also make you smile
in the face of sorrow the only appropriate response is realization which should lead to laughter
because there is no reason to be upset.. there is hilarity in everything.. especially in the worst circumstances.
sometimes you get confronted with a situation and your mouth drops into a long droning.."fuuuuccccccckkkkkk" which , in my case, is followed by a long droning " shiiiiiiittttttt"
then of course the " that suckkkkkkkssss"
but the fact that this terrible situation is so depressing makes it so fun and hilarious!
i must sound crazy but when it comes down to it there is never a reason to feel down.. you must expect a lesson from every situation.. learning a lesson is always a cause for joy!
here's an excerpt from the book i'm reading 'Shambhala the sacred path of the warrior' by Chogyam Trungpa
-For the warrior, letting go is not based on getting away from the constraints of ordinary life. It is quite the opposite. it is going further into your life, because you understand that your life, as it is, contains the means to unconditionally cheer you up and cure you of depression and doubt-
BAM!
isn't that amazing!?
so just laugh it off, smother it in sillyness and realize that that's the way it's gona be..you'll definitely learn something.
***
"fuuuuuuuuccckkkkkk. i wana go to da Niagara fallssss THAT PLACE IS SO ROMANTIC! WTF! lol
closest thing i got is my leaky ass bathroom
*sad puppy dog face*
shiiiiiiiitttttttt"
I'm such a weirdo for BURSTING in laughter at my own inside jokes... definitely meant to date no one other than myself for a while.

Climb your way to the top

I had a wonderful dream last night. I dreamt that i was rock climbing ( free soloing to be exact) this extremely difficult wall and the entire time i was being applauded and cheered on by hundreds of people. These people were smiling and clapping from below me and above me, giving me words of encouragement. As i was climbing i was giving my absolute 100% because i was climbing without ropes and a fall would mean certain death. When i finally climbed over the edge onto the top of the mountain everyone erupted in cheers.

their eyes are bright yet their stories are dull

listen carefully as they Adamantly talk about things that don't matter with such blind conviction they flap their gums and cover their ears, spewing forth regurgitated remarks like roman fountains
a virtual linguistic vomitorium. and they bury their insecurities in a pool of verbal diarrhea
watch as they cover themselves with their own putrid statements and self compliments , they stink to the HIGH HEAVEN, of triviality
a sense of self importance as they walk around like the emperor
naked yet still dripping with a nights worth of one up one liners which they try and use to beat you at conversation but they can never beat me at listening
and silence is golden like nagging beggars they come shouting at you to spend
making sure that you're well aware that they're interesting.. everything you say goes in one ear and out of their mouths exaggerated and lengthen like a magician with multi-colored ribbons
some of them even lie just to stand out but in these social interactions they're like a child crying out for attention
they tell you empty stories of adventures in the doldrums bush whacking their friends along the way to cut them down
they wear their life's achievements like Gucci rings made of fools gold
Dumbo weeps over the fact that their ears haven't grown in yet
the tiny holes in their head clogged with their own words, cannibalizing thier own bees wax they have the most fantastic conversations with themselves as old samurai's sit stoically and shake their heads in disgust at their lack of silence and subtly
their droning banality inspires harakiri ,
their eyes are bright yet their stories are dull

Familiar strangers
I've had this idea for a website/blog for a while... a website about strangers i meet on my travels.. i'm finally going to put it together with my friend Tom. he's got a camera and nows all bout setting up websites. I'm not going to give it all away now but i'm going to ask strangers we meet around Montreal certain question, (again i wont tell you what they are now) but i will answer all the questions i have in this Blog..right now! trippy eh ..ya i know
-I'd have to say: Big mama Thorton - hound dog, Got my mojo working - muddy waters and Sonny Boy Williamson II, and The Black keys- Same old thing
- hippy/weirdo sexual.... like metro sexual but weirder and more peace and bandana's
-so right now i'd call this just lazy Sunday hipster on a boat
-I love strangers.. i think that there is something interesting and beautiful in every single person.. you just have to find it and when you do it will think and possibly smile. i wish strangers in the city would be more like the strangers at Burning man.. more open and loving.. but i guess there really aren't any strangers at burning man...
-my home use to be called the Chicken coop.. now its gotta get a new name...
-this one time at burning man i went to this nighttime rave on the outskirts of black rock city. this place called the Opulent Temple.. infected mushroom was opening for Arman van buren.. i went with these 2 hippy jewish girls from Long island and this L.A producer who grew up in the south Pacific..it was the first time i took Ecstasy.. so this rave in the desert was this big open circle with these 3 platforms at the back, facing the stage.. about 6 feet high .. the four of us were in the back on the ground in front of the middle stage.. there were lazers on top of the dj booth, the dj booth was this big metal head .. the eyes were flame throwers and the mouth was the dj booth..the flame throwers would periodically shoot out.. i started dancing and i felt this weird feeling i had never felt before.. i didn't really like and i had to sit down.. so i sat down under one of the platforms.. kinda cool, feeling kinda blue.. (drugs eh) and the older producer guy(no need for names) came and sat next to me, he asked me what was wrong. after i explained that i was feeling shitty he gave me his down jacket and put his arm around me and told me this: "you see all this crazy art around us? isn't it unbelievable i mean right here in the middle of the fucking desert!, and listen to this music the best dj in the world are playing for us in that metal head with the flamethrower eyes!, and look at all these people" he gestured outward and i saw all these hilarious fun people, some naked, some all dressed up in the most unbelievable costumes and some of them looked down at me and smiled and hollered and laughed, "you see all this" he said " ya i do" i replied .. then he told me the best advice ever " it's all here for YOU"
- positivity in all it's forms is a good thing everyone should practice
-again at burning man... i needed a ride into reno on the last day.. and the people who were suppose to drive me back were only going half way then going the other half way the next day.i really wanted to get to reno because there was thi girl i met in my camp that i really wanted to see.. so i got dropped off in this small town called Nixon and i hitch hiked with this crazy pink haired, wolverine looking wild and kind man who drove me in his Winnebago that kept dying every 2 miles or so.. he kept trying to fix it and it would work for another 2 miles.. after hours of this it was nighttime and i was freaking out.. he had the cover for the engine off and the engine was roaring right between the both of us while i was crouched over with two plastic bottles of gasoline (all that was left) and he was yelling something about how his he has done wilder shit then this in the amazon.. anyway the gas in the plastic bottle was getting drank up mighty fast and we almost didn't make it to the next town.. as soon as we did i busted out of the winnebago ( i now feel terrible for not thanking the man) and went to the first person i found and asked him if he could drive me to reno.. to my delight he was a frenchman from paris and he agreed and drove me back ..i eventually made it to reno 5 hours after i was suppose to and met the young lady
-i guess it would be this 40 kilometer hike i did in the himilayas in one day .. the guide kept pushing us till we were dead tired.. it took us 10 hours with a good hour long lunch break so 9 hours.
-Why do you paint your nails
-wildest would be the pink haired dude from burning man, and the coolest would have to be this Australian guy, we look very similar.. he is currently traveling the world .. met him in Montreal outside this club.
- the Tibetan book of the dead
-it was a beautiful day today i'm going rock climbing on Wednesday
thats all for now .. hopefully Tom and I will get our shit together and put together this awesome Website
